God is ALL in All

This is a Philosophical and Spiritual endeavor to extract, Harmonize, and synthesize the Universal Truths underlying the world's Diverse Religious, Mystical, and Philosophical traditions. Most famously associated with the concept of Perennial Philosophy, it posits that All Major Traditions share a single, transcendent metaphysical Source and Core Set of Truths.

"By the Power of Truth, I, while Living, have Conquered the Universe."

"I Am Nothing, yet I Am Everything."

A Treatise on White Magic

Based on the works of Alice A. Bailey

The Nature of the Soul

The Ageless Wisdom rests upon the fundamental postulate that One Life Pervades All Forms, and that the Purpose of Manifested Being is the Unfoldment of Consciousness, or the Revelation of the Soul. In esoteric philosophy, the Soul is neither Spirit nor matter, but the Mediating Principle—the Link between God and His Form. It is the Attractive Force of the Universe, the Form-Building Aspect that Holds All Things Together so that the Divine Life may Express Itself.

Just as the physical body is coordinated by the nervous system, the Universe is Coordinated by the Anima Mundi, or World Soul. In man, the Soul is the Conscious Factor, the Perceiving Entity produced through the Union of Father-Spirit and Mother-Matter. The Objective of Human Evolution is for the Individual to transfer their Consciousness from the shifting world of physical forms into the Clear, Stabilized Realm of the Soul.

The Path of the Disciple and the Rhythmic Life

The White Magician is an advanced human being who has Aligned his Personal, Lower Self with the Overarching Soul. This alignment brings about a downflow of Spiritual Energy to the physical brain. However, this process is Subject to Immutable Laws of Cyclic Ebb and Flow (Hermetic Law of Rythm). The aspirant must Learn to Recognize that the Alternating Periods of Spiritual Illumination and dark, sterile emptiness are natural effects of the Soul's Rhythmic Meditation upon the form nature.

To tread this path successfully, the disciple must cultivate:

Inner Poise: Maintaining a Steady, Internal Calm while carrying out physical plane duties.

Harmlessness: Acting from a Center of Inclusiveness and Love, which destroys limitation and releases Spiritual Energy.

Control of Thought: Guarding the Mind Against the Chaotic Thought-Forms of the world and utilizing the concrete Mind as an Instrument rather than a Master.

The Work of Creation and the Centers of Force

Man is a Creator, functioning primarily on the Mental Plane. Through Meditation, the Soul and the Mind synchronize to build Thought-Forms that embody the Great Plan. This Creative Work Utilizes the physical Centers (Chakras) within the etheric body, which must be reorganized and reoriented From a State of Negativity to Positivity.

The Centers above the diaphragm—the Heart, the Throat, the Center between the Eyebrows, and the Head Center—Must Be Awakened. When the Radiant Light of the Soul blends with the Magnetic Light of the Vital Body, it stimulates the "dark light" of the physical atoms, Creating a Unified, Functioning Instrument for the Soul.

The Science of the Breath

The Creative Work of the Disciple is mirrored in the esoteric Science of the Breath (Pranayama). It involves three symbolic stages:

Inhalation: The man draws the Breath of Life from the Soul, Detaching himself from Phenomenal Living and Gathering his Experiences back to their Source.

Retention: An interlude of Intense Concentration and Silent Contemplation, where the Soul is held at Rest, Contemplating the Beatific Vision and the Purpose of the Created Form.

Exhalation: The Act of the Will that breathes forth the Spiritual purposes and plans into the phenomenal world, Driving the Thought-Form outward to Fulfill its Mission.

The Dangers of Occult Work

The aspirant must approach the Creation of Thought-Forms with Extreme Caution. The Emotional body is often a chaotic whirlpool of selfish desires, fear, and suspicion. If a Thought-Form is sent into this turbulent state, it will be drowned and lost. Furthermore, a disciple can be poisoned or suffocated by their own Unpurified Thought-Forms if they multiply too rapidly or become obsessive ("idée fixe").

True Occult Training emphasizes Right Thinking, Loving Desire, and Pure Living as the only Safe Foundation for Magical work. The disciple must substitute the fear of the planetary form with the Peace of the Eternal Light, and replace the desire for material possession with the Aspiration for Soul-Wisdom and the Power to Serve.
