God is ALL in All
This is a Philosophical and Spiritual endeavor to extract, Harmonize, and synthesize the Universal Truths underlying the world's Diverse Religious, Mystical, and Philosophical traditions. Most famously associated with the concept of Perennial Philosophy, it posits that All Major Traditions share a single, transcendent metaphysical Source and Core Set of Truths.
"By the Power of Truth, I, while Living, have Conquered the Universe."
"I Am Nothing, yet I Am Everything."
SOL-OM-ON symbolizing Light, Glory, and Truth collectively and respectively. Signifies its invisible but All-Powerful, Spiritual and Intellectual effulgency. The Spirit of Universal Illumination - Mental, Spiritual, moral and physical.
The Temple of Solomon is, therefore, first of all "the House of Everlasting Light."
The name Solomon is a rich source of esoteric and Mystical interpretations, largely due to his association with legendary Wisdom, Magic, and the building of the First Temple.
The esoteric meaning is often enhanced by breaking the name down into the structure SOL-OM-ON, which is a popular metaphysical or Hermetic interpretation rather than a traditional Hebrew etymology. This trinary breakdown connects King Solomon to the three great centers of Spiritual Power found in various world religions and esoteric traditions:
SOL - The Sun/Gold/Light - Latin for "Sun." Represents the Divine Spirit (The Father), the ultimate source of Light, Life, and Wisdom. It relates to the Crown Chakra and the highest Spiritual illumination.
OM - The Creative Word/Sound - The sacred sound (Aum/Om) in Hinduism and other Eastern traditions, representing the Creative Logos (The Son), the unmanifest becoming manifest. It is the vibration that underlies all of existence and the inner silece of the Mystic heart.
ON - The Manifest/Earth/Law - The name for the ancient Egyptian city of the Sun, also known as Heliopolis. It symbolizes the Physical Manifestation (The Holy Spirit/Mother Earth), the terrestrial world, or the working out of the Divine Law.
SOL-OM-ON: This interpretation suggests that King Solomon embodies the perfect Union of these Three Divine Forces: the Spirit of the Sun (SOL), channeled through the Creative Word (OM), and made manifest on the Earth (ON). He is a personification of complete Cosmic and Spiritual authority - the wise ruler who governs the physical world (ON) through the Power of Divine Wisdom (SOL) and its Creative Expression (OM)
The traditional Hebrew root of the name is Shlomo שְׁלֹמֹה, which is derived from the word Shalom שָׁלוֹם meaning "Peaceful," "Complete," or "Whole." signifying the state of perfect Inner Harmony and Spiritual completion required to receive true Divine Wisdom.
The reign of Solomon was known for its peace, symbolizing a Unified state of Consciousness where the "man of war" (David/love, passion, and struggle) has been replaced by the "man of peace" (Solomon/Wisdom and integration).
Solomon's greatest achievement was building the First Temple in Jerusalem. In various esoteric traditions (Kabbalah, Freemasonry), the Temple is seen as a Microcosm - a blueprint for the Universe and the human body.
The King himself, therefore, represents the presiding intelligence at the Heart center (Jerusalem), orchestrating the perfect construction and order of the Spiritual body and Soul. The King's Mythical Power to command demons (earthly/unruly forces) and jinn (elemental spirits) signifies that the truly wise man (Solomon) has Mastered and integrated the hidden, Subconscious, and chthonic elements of his own nature.
The Seal of Solomon shown at the top of the page:
The Circle enclosing the hexagram perfectly represents the eternal, unbounded, and cyclical nature of Reality, which has No Beginning and No End. It signifies the Absolute, Unmanifested, and Infinite—the boundless Source that contains All Things while remaining uncontained itself.
The core Hexagram itself represents the Perfect Union of Two Opposing Forces, such as Spirit and Matter, or Heaven and Earth. The Star of Solomon is geometrically composed of Twelve "Rays" in total. The Six Points of the Star itself represent the masculine Forces, while the six outer obtuse angles between those points—exactly where the dots are placed in the image—represent the feminine Forces. The Six Points and their corresponding outer spaces also symbolize the Six Directions of Space (North, South, East, West, Up, and Down). The empty space in the very center represents the Seventh Principle—the Static, Unifying Core, or the Sabbath. By placing the dots in those specific outer angles, the symbol emphasizes the harmonious integration and balance of those feminine receptive Forces within the Eternal Boundary of the Cosmos.
