God is ALL in All

This is a Philosophical and Spiritual endeavor to extract, Harmonize, and synthesize the Universal Truths underlying the world's Diverse Religious, Mystical, and Philosophical traditions. Most famously associated with the concept of Perennial Philosophy, it posits that All Major Traditions share a single, transcendent metaphysical Source and Core Set of Truths.

"By the Power of Truth, I, while Living, have Conquered the Universe."

"I Am Nothing, yet I Am Everything."

Numbers Chapter Twenty Four

1 And when Balaam saw that it pleased the Lord to bless Israel, he went not, as at other times, to seek for enchantments, but he set his face toward the wilderness.

2 And Balaam lifted up his eyes, and he saw Israel abiding in his tents according to their tribes; and the spirit of God came upon him.

3 And he took up his parable, and said, Balaam the son of Beor hath said, and the man whose eyes are open hath said:

4 He hath said, which heard the words of God, which saw the vision of the Almighty, falling into a trance, but having his eyes open:

5 How goodly are thy tents, O Jacob, and thy tabernacles, O Israel!

6 As the valleys are they spread forth, as gardens by the river's side, as the trees of lign aloes which the Lord hath planted, and as cedar trees beside the waters.

7 He shall pour the water out of his buckets, and his seed shall be in many waters, and his king shall be higher than Agag, and his kingdom shall be exalted.

8 God brought him forth out of Egypt; he hath as it were the strength of an unicorn: he shall eat up the nations his enemies, and shall break their bones, and pierce them through with his arrows.

9 He couched, he lay down as a lion, and as a great lion: who shall stir him up? Blessed is he that blesseth thee, and cursed is he that curseth thee.

10 And Balak's anger was kindled against Balaam, and he smote his hands together: and Balak said unto Balaam, I called thee to curse mine enemies, and, behold, thou hast altogether blessed them these three times.

11 Therefore now flee thou to thy place: I thought to promote thee unto great honour; but, lo, the Lord hath kept thee back from honour.

12 And Balaam said unto Balak, Spake I not also to thy messengers which thou sentest unto me, saying,

13 If Balak would give me his house full of silver and gold, I cannot go beyond the commandment of the Lord, to do either good or bad of mine own mind; but what the Lord saith, that will I speak?

14 And now, behold, I go unto my people: come therefore, and I will advertise thee what this people shall do to thy people in the latter days.

15 And he took up his parable, and said, Balaam the son of Beor hath said, and the man whose eyes are open hath said:

16 He hath said, which heard the words of God, and knew the knowledge of the most High, which saw the vision of the Almighty, falling into a trance, but having his eyes open:

17 I shall see him, but not now: I shall behold him, but not nigh: there shall come a Star out of Jacob, and a Sceptre shall rise out of Israel, and shall smite the corners of Moab, and destroy all the children of Sheth.

18 And Edom shall be a possession, Seir also shall be a possession for his enemies; and Israel shall do valiantly.

19 Out of Jacob shall come he that shall have dominion, and shall destroy him that remaineth of the city.

20 And when he looked on Amalek, he took up his parable, and said, Amalek was the first of the nations; but his latter end shall be that he perish for ever.

21 And he looked on the Kenites, and took up his parable, and said, Strong is thy dwellingplace, and thou puttest thy nest in a rock.

22 Nevertheless the Kenite shall be wasted, until Asshur shall carry thee away captive.

23 And he took up his parable, and said, Alas, who shall live when God doeth this!

24 And ships shall come from the coast of Chittim, and shall afflict Asshur, and shall afflict Eber, and he also shall perish for ever.

25 And Balaam rose up, and went and returned to his place: and Balak also went his way.

Esoteric Interpretation & Commentary

The Hermetic Blueprint of Numbers Chapter Twenty-Four: The Vision of the Tents and the Star of Awakening

"Numbers Chapter Twenty-Four reveals the ultimate Alchemical vision of a perfectly ordered Psyche. When the corrupt intellect finally surrenders its earthly mechanisms, it perceives the true geometric beauty of the Awakened Soul, culminating in the prophecy of the Sovereign Will's absolute dominion over all lower material forces."

Verses 1-4: The Surrender of Enchantments and the Open Eyes - "And when Balaam saw that it pleased the LORD to bless Israel, he went not, as at other times, to seek for enchantments, but he set his face toward the wilderness... and the man whose eyes are open hath said: He hath said, which heard the words of God, which saw the vision of the Almighty, falling into a trance, but having his eyes open..."

The mundane Intellect (Balaam) finally abandons its reliance on "enchantments"—the low-frequency Astral manipulations and Egoic attempts to force spiritual outcomes. By setting its face toward the wilderness and surrendering to the present reality, the Intellect is immediately overshadowed by the Superconscious Source. The state of having the "eyes open" while in a trance represents the attainment of true Hermetic Clairvoyance. The Conscious Mind is no longer blinded by dense material illusions; it perceives the pure, unvarnished Energetic reality of the Microcosm.

Verses 5-9: The Goodly Tents and the Flowing Waters - "How goodly are thy tents, O Jacob, and thy tabernacles, O Israel! As the valleys are they spread forth, as gardens by the river's side, as the trees of lign aloes which the LORD hath planted... He shall pour the water out of his buckets, and his seed shall be in many waters... He couched, he lay down as a lion, and as a great lion: who shall stir him up? Blessed is he that blesseth thee, and cursed is he that curseth thee."

This is the breathtaking vision of the internally Aligned Psyche. The tents and tabernacles represent the structural organization of the internal Faculties. When perfectly ordered by the Divine Light, they are not rigid, defensive fortresses, but living, expansive "gardens" constantly nourished by the flowing waters of the Receptive Subconscious. The lion symbolizes the awakened Solar power of the Conscious Mind resting in perfect Energetic Equilibrium. Its frequency is so elevated and stable that anyone Aligning with it is elevated (blessed), and any dense Egoic force attempting to disrupt its peace is instantly destroyed by its own psychic resistance (cursed).

Verses 10-14: The Wrath of the Ego and the Loss of Material Reward - "And Balak's anger was kindled against Balaam, and he smote his hands together: and Balak said unto Balaam, I called thee to curse mine enemies, and, behold, thou hast altogether blessed them these three times. Therefore now flee thou to thy place: I thought to promote thee unto great honour; but, lo, the LORD hath kept thee back from honour."

Balak represents the entrenched lower Ego, violently rejecting the spiritual truth it cannot control. When the Ego realizes it cannot manipulate the Sovereign Will, it aggressively banishes the Intellect that refuses to serve its worldly ambitions. The loss of material reward ("the LORD hath kept thee back from honour") demonstrates a foundational Alchemical law: true Spiritual Awakening requires the absolute sacrifice of earthly prestige and Egoic validation.

Verses 15-19: The Star of Jacob and the Scepter of Authority - "I shall see him, but not now: I shall behold him, but not nigh: there shall come a Star out of Jacob, and a Scepter shall rise out of Israel, and shall smite the corners of Moab, and destroy all the children of Sheth... Out of Jacob shall come he that shall have dominion, and shall destroy him that remaineth of the city."

This is the supreme Hermetic prophecy of the Great Work. The "Star" represents the ultimate crystallization of the Divine Light—the fully awakened Higher Self emerging from within the foundational Mind (Jacob). The "Scepter" is the manifestation of supreme Magickal Authority. Its purpose is to permanently shatter the "corners of Moab" (the crystallized strongholds of the lower Passions and earthly attachments). This vision guarantees that the ultimate destiny of the Awakened Soul is absolute, unchallenged dominion over the entire Microcosm, purging the final remnants of dense material consciousness to achieve total Spiritual Reintegration.

Verses 20-25: The Doom of the Parasite and the Departure of the Intellect - "And when he looked on Amalek, he took up his parable, and said, Amalek was the first of the nations; but his latter end shall be that he perish for ever. And he looked on the Kenites... Strong is thy dwellingplace, and thou puttest thy nest in a rock. Nevertheless the Kenite shall be wasted... And Balaam rose up, and went and returned to his place: and Balak also went his way."

Amalek represents the most base, opportunistic, and parasitic aspect of the lower Ego—the 'first' to attack the newly awakened Microcosm when it was most vulnerable. The Kenites represent deeply entrenched, seemingly secure material habits ("puttest thy nest in a rock"). Balaam’s final vision is the unalterable decree of the Sovereign Will against these chaotic, foundational forces. Even though they appear structurally invincible in the earthly plane, their ultimate energetic destiny is absolute dissolution ("perish for ever"). Once this Hermetic truth is spoken, the corrupted Intellect (Balaam) and the frustrated Ego (Balak) depart to their respective places. Their power is entirely broken; having been forced to prophesy their own defeat, they can no longer influence the trajectory of the Great Work.
