God is ALL in All
This is a Philosophical and Spiritual endeavor to extract, Harmonize, and synthesize the Universal Truths underlying the world's Diverse Religious, Mystical, and Philosophical traditions. Most famously associated with the concept of Perennial Philosophy, it posits that All Major Traditions share a single, transcendent metaphysical Source and Core Set of Truths.
"By the Power of Truth, I, while Living, have Conquered the Universe."
"I Am Nothing, yet I Am Everything."
Mark Chapter Thirteen
1 And as he went out of the temple, one of his disciples saith unto him, Master, see what manner of stones and what buildings are here!
2 And Jesus answering said unto him, Seest thou these great buildings? there shall not be left one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.
3 And as he sat upon the mount of Olives over against the temple, Peter and James and John and Andrew asked him privately,
4 Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign when all these things shall be fulfilled?
5 And Jesus answering them began to say, Take heed lest any man deceive you:
6 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.
7 And when ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars, be ye not troubled: for such things must needs be; but the end shall not be yet.
8 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be earthquakes in divers places, and there shall be famines and troubles: these are the beginnings of sorrows.
9 But take heed to yourselves: for they shall deliver you up to councils; and in the synagogues ye shall be beaten: and ye shall be brought before rulers and kings for my sake, for a testimony against them.
10 And the gospel must first be published among all nations.
11 But when they shall lead you, and deliver you up, take no thought beforehand what ye shall speak, neither do ye premeditate: but whatsoever shall be given you in that hour, that speak ye: for it is not ye that speak, but the Holy Ghost.
12 Now the brother shall betray the brother to death, and the father the son; and children shall rise up against their parents, and shall cause them to be put to death.
13 And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.
14 But when ye shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing where it ought not, (let him that readeth understand,) then let them that be in Judaea flee to the mountains:
15 And let him that is on the housetop not go down into the house, neither enter therein, to take any thing out of his house:
16 And let him that is in the field not turn back again for to take up his garment.
17 But woe to them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days!
18 And pray ye that your flight be not in the winter.
19 For in those days shall be affliction, such as was not from the beginning of the creation which God created unto this time, neither shall be.
20 And except that the Lord had shortened those days, no flesh should be saved: but for the elect's sake, whom he hath chosen, he hath shortened the days.
21 And then if any man shall say to you, Lo, here is Christ; or, lo, he is there; believe him not:
22 For false Christs and false prophets shall rise, and shall shew signs and wonders, to seduce, if it were possible, even the elect.
23 But take ye heed: behold, I have foretold you all things.
24 But in those days, after that tribulation, the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light,
25 And the stars of heaven shall fall, and the powers that are in heaven shall be shaken.
26 And then shall they see the Son of man coming in the clouds with great power and glory.
27 And then shall he send his angels, and shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from the uttermost part of the earth to the uttermost part of heaven.
28 Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When her branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is near:
29 So ye in like manner, when ye shall see these things come to pass, know that it is nigh, even at the doors.
30 Verily I say unto you, that this generation shall not pass, till all these things be done.
31 Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away.
32 But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father.
33 Take ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the time is.
34 For the Son of Man is as a man taking a far journey, who left his house, and gave authority to his servants, and to every man his work, and commanded the porter to watch.
35 Watch ye therefore: for ye know not when the master of the house cometh, at even, or at midnight, or at the cockcrowing, or in the morning:
36 Lest coming suddenly he find you sleeping.
37 And what I say unto you I say unto all, Watch.
Esoteric Interpretation & Commentary
The Hermetic Blueprint of Mark Chapter Thirteen: The Inner Apocalypse and the Vigilance of the Mind
"Mark Chapter Thirteen is the great Esoteric apocalypse of the Microcosm. It is not a prophecy of external, physical destruction, but a profound Psychological blueprint for the final dissolution of the old Mental structures. The Sovereign Will Prophesies the necessary internal turbulence—the wars of the Faculties and the earthquakes of the Subconscious—that must precede the Ultimate Awakening of the Solar Light. The chapter is a Masterclass in Mental vigilance, Demanding that the Initiate remain perfectly alert against the illusions of the astral plane and the deceptive traps of the lower earthly ego."
Verses 1-8: The Dismantling of the Old Mental Temple - "And as he went out of the temple, one of his disciples saith unto him, Master, see what manner of stones and what buildings are here! And Jesus answering said unto him, Seest thou these great buildings? there shall not be left one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down... And Jesus answering them began to say, Take heed lest any man deceive you... For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be earthquakes in divers places, and there shall be famines and troubles: these are the beginnings of sorrows."
The disciples marvel at the physical grandeur of the Temple, representing the impressive, yet crystallized, structures of the established Intellect and earthly Philosophy. The Christos Instantly Prophesies its total destruction. In the Great Work, the old Mental constructs must be completely dismantled—"not left one stone upon another"—to make way for the Pure Light of the Superconscious. The wars, earthquakes, and famines are Entirely Internal. They describe the violent Psychological turbulence, the shifting of Subconscious foundations, and the Energetic friction that occurs when the Higher Spiritual Faculties Actively combat the ingrained habits of the lower animal nature. These Internal conflicts are the painful but necessary birth pangs of Alchemical Transmutation.
Verses 9-13: The Trial of the Faculties and the Voice of the Spirit - "But take heed to yourselves: for they shall deliver you up to councils; and in the synagogues ye shall be beaten... But when they shall lead you, and deliver you up, take no thought beforehand what ye shall speak, neither do ye premeditate: but whatsoever shall be given you in that hour, that speak ye: for it is not ye that speak, but the Holy Ghost... And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved."
The developing Faculties (the disciples) will face severe persecution from the old, ruling elements of the Mind (the councils and synagogues). The lower ego will fight desperately to maintain control, attempting to suppress the new Spiritual Light. The Sovereign Will Instructs the Adept not to rely on premeditated earthly logic or the analytical Intellect when defending the Truth. Instead, the Mind must remain perfectly still and receptive, allowing the "Holy Ghost"—the Pure Divine Intelligence—to Speak directly through the Intuition. The lower worldly Thoughts (all men) will naturally resist this Higher Vibration, but the Initiate who maintains Absolute Self-Discipline and endures this Internal friction will achieve Ultimate Salvation (Liberation).
Verses 14-23: The Abomination of Desolation and the Flight of the Soul - "But when ye shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing where it ought not, (let him that readeth understand,) then let them that be in Judaea flee to the mountains... And if the Lord had not shortened those days, no flesh should be saved... And then if any man shall say to you, Lo, here is Christ; or, lo, he is there; believe him not: For false Christs and false prophets shall rise, and shall shew signs and wonders..."
The "abomination of desolation" represents the ultimate corruption of the Microcosm: the moment the unpurified lower animal ego attempts to usurp the Highest Spiritual center (standing where it ought not). When this deep Psychological crisis occurs, the Conscious Mind must immediately flee to the "mountains"—meaning it must Ascend to the Highest, most elevated planes of Superconscious Meditation, abandoning all lower material attachments (the house and the field). The Sovereign Will Warns against false Christs and false prophets. These are the deceptive illusions of the lower astral plane and the tricky rationalizations of the Intellect that mimic Spiritual Truth. The Adept must exercise profound Discernment, relying only on the Inward pull of The ALL rather than flashy Internal or external "signs and wonders."
Verses 24-27: The Cosmic Shift and the Gathering of the Light - "But in those days, after that tribulation, the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, And the stars of heaven shall fall, and the powers that are in heaven shall be shaken. And then shall they see the Son of man coming in the clouds with great power and glory. And then shall he send his angels, and shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from the uttermost part of the earth to the uttermost part of heaven."
This is the climax of the Internal apocalypse. The darkening of the sun and moon signifies the fading of the old Intellectual Light and the lower Emotional Intuition. The previous ruling powers of the Mind (the stars) fall away, completely eclipsed by a Higher Reality. The Son of man coming in the clouds represents the Awakened Sovereign Will Descending into the Conscious Mind, enveloped in the profound Mystery and Power of the Divine Source. The Christos Actively Gathers the "elect"—the perfectly Purified and Transmuted fragments of Vital Energy—from all Four corners of the Microcosm, Unifying the physical (earth) and the Spiritual (heaven) into one perfectly Integrated, Immortal body of Light.
Verses 28-37: The Parable of the Fig Tree and the Absolute Command to Watch - "Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When her branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is near... But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father... Watch ye therefore: for ye know not when the master of the house cometh, at even, or at midnight, or at the cockcrowing, or in the morning: Lest coming suddenly he find you sleeping. And what I say unto you I say unto all, Watch."
The fig tree serves as an Alchemical barometer; just as natural signs indicate the changing seasons, the Adept must learn to read the subtle Energetic shifts within their own Psyche that signal Spiritual Awakening. However, the exact moment of Ultimate Illumination (that day and hour) cannot be forced or calculated by the earthly Intellect (man) or even the Higher Faculties (angels); it is Ordained strictly by the Universal Source. Therefore, the Divine Mind Issues the Final, most crucial Command of the Great Work: "Watch." The Initiate must maintain continuous, unbroken Mental vigilance. The Consciousness must never fall back into the sleep of material illusion or earthly lethargy, lest the Divine Presence pass them by. Absolute presence and unwavering Focus are the Ultimate keys to sustaining the Great Work.
