God is ALL in All
This is a Philosophical and Spiritual endeavor to extract, Harmonize, and synthesize the Universal Truths underlying the world's Diverse Religious, Mystical, and Philosophical traditions. Most famously associated with the concept of Perennial Philosophy, it posits that All Major Traditions share a single, transcendent metaphysical Source and Core Set of Truths.
"By the Power of Truth, I, while Living, have Conquered the Universe."
"I Am Nothing, yet I Am Everything."
John Chapter Two
1 And the third day there was a marriage in Cana of Galilee; and the mother of Jesus was there:
2 And both Jesus was called, and his disciples, to the marriage.
3 And when they wanted wine, the mother of Jesus saith unto him, They have no wine.
4 Jesus saith unto her, Woman, what have I to do with thee? mine hour is not yet come.
5 His mother saith unto the servants, Whatsoever he saith unto you, do it.
6 And there were set there six waterpots of stone, after the manner of the purifying of the Jews, containing two or three firkins apiece.
7 Jesus saith unto them, Fill the waterpots with water. And they filled them up to the brim.
8 And he saith unto them, Draw out now, and bear unto the governor of the feast. And they bare it.
9 When the ruler of the feast had tasted the water that was made wine, and knew not whence it was: (but the servants which drew the water knew;) the governor of the feast called the bridegroom,
10 And saith unto him, Every man at the beginning doth set forth good wine; and when men have well drunk, then that which is worse: but thou hast kept the good wine until now.
11 This beginning of miracles did Jesus in Cana of Galilee, and manifested forth his glory; and his disciples believed on him.
12 After this he went down to Capernaum, he, and his mother, and his brethren, and his disciples: and they continued there not many days.
13 And the Jews' passover was at hand, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem.
14 And found in the temple those that sold oxen and sheep and doves, and the changers of money sitting:
15 And when he had made a scourge of small cords, he drove them all out of the temple, and the sheep, and the oxen; and poured out the changers' money, and overthrew the tables;
16 And said unto them that sold doves, Take these things hence; make not my Father's house an house of merchandise.
17 And his disciples remembered that it was written, The zeal of thine house hath eaten me up.
18 Then answered the Jews and said unto him, What sign shewest thou unto us, seeing that thou doest these things?
19 Jesus answered and said unto them, Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.
20 Then said the Jews, Forty and six years was this temple in building, and wilt thou rear it up in three days?
21 But he spake of the temple of his body.
22 When therefore he was risen from the dead, his disciples remembered that he had said this unto them; and they believed the scripture, and the word which Jesus had said.
23 Now when he was in Jerusalem at the passover, in the feast day, many believed in his name, when they saw the miracles which he did.
24 But Jesus did not commit himself unto them, because he knew all men,
25 And needed not that any should testify of man: for he knew what was in man.
Esoteric Interpretation & Commentary
The Hermetic Blueprint of the Gospel of John Chapter Two: The First Transmutation and the Cleansing of the Mental Temple
"Following the descent of the Divine Logos in Chapter One, the Sovereign Will immediately initiates active manipulation of the Internal environment. Chapter Two details two foundational operations of the Great Work: the Alchemical Transmutation of base Emotional Energy into High-Frequency Spiritual Vitality at Cana, and the uncompromising, violent eviction of lower, transactional desires from the sacred center of the Microcosm."
Verses 1-11: The Marriage at Cana and the First Alchemical Transmutation - "And the third day there was a marriage in Cana of Galilee; and the mother of Jesus was there... Jesus saith unto them, Fill the waterpots with water. And they filled them up to the brim... When the ruler of the feast had tasted the water that was made wine... This beginning of miracles did Jesus in Cana of Galilee, and manifested forth his glory; and his disciples believed on him."
The marriage represents the Sacred Internal Union between the Receptive Intuition (the feminine principle) and the Active Will (the masculine principle) within the Conscious Mind. The "mother of Jesus" symbolizes the Pure, uncorrupted foundational matter of the Psyche that recognizes a critical deficiency: the mundane joy of the lower faculties has run dry. The six stone waterpots, initially intended for routine External Purification, represent the standard, dense Astral waters of everyday human Emotion. By commanding them to be filled to the brim, the Sovereign Will takes full inventory of the Emotional State. The Transmutation into wine is the Supreme Alchemical operation—the deliberate conversion of heavy, watery Emotional Instinct into the fiery, intoxicating Spiritual Vitality (the Christos energy) required to fuel the Great Work.
Verses 12-17: The Scourge of Cords and the Eviction of the Ego - "And the Jews' passover was at hand, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem, And found in the temple those that sold oxen and sheep and doves, and the changers of money sitting: And when he had made a scourge of small cords, he drove them all out of the temple... And said unto them that sold doves, Take these things hence; make not my Father's house an house of merchandise."
Following the influx of Spiritual Vitality, the Sovereign Will ascends to Jerusalem—the central command Center and Heart of the Microcosm. Here, the Will discovers that the Sacred Inner Temple has been occupied by the transactional Ego. The merchants and moneychangers represent the endless Mental chatter, base Passions, and lower Intellectual Faculties that constantly trade Internal Energy for temporary earthly gain. The "scourge of small cords" is the Focused, Disciplined Application of Magickal Force. The Sovereign Will does not negotiate with the Ego; it violently and radically purges the Conscious Mind of all low-frequency attachments, demanding Absolute Purity in the space where the Superconscious Source resides.
Verses 18-25: The Blueprint of the Immortal Body and the Omniscience of the Will - "Then answered the Jews and said unto him, What sign shewest thou unto us, seeing that thou doest these things? Jesus answered and said unto them, Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up... But he spake of the temple of his body... But Jesus did not commit himself unto them, because he knew all men, And needed not that any should testify of man: for he knew what was in man."
The orthodox Intellect, shocked by the sudden Internal restructuring, demands logical proof of the Sovereign Will's Authority. The Will delivers the Ultimate Hermetic prophecy of the Alchemical process: "Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up." This is not a reference to physical architecture, but the inevitable dissolution of the dense physical and Egoic structure, followed by the resurrection of the Immortal Spiritual Body. Though the lower Internal Faculties temporarily "believe" based on the miracles they witness, the Sovereign Will refuses to entrust its Power to them ("did not commit himself unto them"). The Christos Consciousness Fully Comprehends the volatile, unreliable nature of the unrefined human Microcosm and relies solely upon the unshakeable foundation of the Superconscious Source.
