God is ALL in All
This is a Philosophical and Spiritual endeavor to extract, Harmonize, and synthesize the Universal Truths underlying the world's Diverse Religious, Mystical, and Philosophical traditions. Most famously associated with the concept of Perennial Philosophy, it posits that All Major Traditions share a single, transcendent metaphysical Source and Core Set of Truths.
"By the Power of Truth, I, while Living, have Conquered the Universe."
"I Am Nothing, yet I Am Everything."
Genesis Chapter Twenty Three
1 And Sarah was an hundred and seven and twenty years old: these were the years of the life of Sarah.
2 And Sarah died in Kirjatharba; the same is Hebron in the land of Canaan: and Abraham came to mourn for Sarah, and to weep for her.
3 And Abraham stood up from before his dead, and spake unto the sons of Heth, saying,
4 I am a stranger and a sojourner with you: give me a possession of a buryingplace with you, that I may bury my dead out of my sight.
5 And the children of Heth answered Abraham, saying unto him,
6 Hear us, my lord: thou art a mighty prince among us: in the choice of our sepulchres bury thy dead; none of us shall withhold from thee his sepulchre, but that thou mayest bury thy dead.
7 And Abraham stood up, and bowed himself to the people of the land, even to the children of Heth.
8 And he communed with them, saying, If it be your mind that I should bury my dead out of my sight; hear me, and intreat for me to Ephron the son of Zohar,
9 That he may give me the cave of Machpelah, which he hath, which is in the end of his field; for as much money as it is worth he shall give it me for a possession of a burying place amongst you.
10 And Ephron dwelt among the children of Heth: and Ephron the Hittite answered Abraham in the audience of the children of Heth, even of all that went in at the gate of his city, saying,
11 Nay, my lord, hear me: the field give I thee, and the cave that is therein, I give it thee; in the presence of the sons of my people give I it thee: bury thy dead.
12 And Abraham bowed down himself before the people of the land.
13 And he spake unto Ephron in the audience of the people of the land, saying, But if thou wilt give it, I pray thee, hear me: I will give thee money for the field; take it of me, and I will bury my dead there.
14 And Ephron answered Abraham, saying unto him,
15 My lord, hearken unto me: the land is worth four hundred shekels of silver; what is that betwixt me and thee? bury therefore thy dead.
16 And Abraham hearkened unto Ephron; and Abraham weighed to Ephron the silver, which he had named in the audience of the sons of Heth, four hundred shekels of silver, current money with the merchant.
17 And the field of Ephron which was in Machpelah, which was before Mamre, the field, and the cave which was therein, and all the trees that were in the field, that were in all the borders round about, were made sure
18 Unto Abraham for a possession in the presence of the children of Heth, before all that went in at the gate of his city.
19 And after this, Abraham buried Sarah his wife in the cave of the field of Machpelah before Mamre: the same is Hebron in the land of Canaan.
20 And the field, and the cave that is therein, were made sure unto Abraham for a possession of a burying place by the sons of Heth.
Esoteric Interpretation & Commentary
The Hermetic Blueprint of Genesis: The Double Cave and the Karmic Price of the Earth
"Genesis Chapter Twenty-Three marks the closing of a massive Alchemical cycle. The Pure Spiritual Soul (Sarah) has completed her earthly work, having successfully birthed the True Spiritual Consciousness (Isaac). Her passing is not a tragedy, but the transition of a Fully Actualized Force. The central focus of this chapter is Abraham's purchase of the Cave of Machpelah. Esoterically, this narrative illustrates how the Awakened Spiritual Will must secure a permanent, uncorrupted foundation deep within the dense material plane (the earth) to anchor its Highest Spiritual Achievements, and the Absolute necessity of paying the full Energetic 'Price' so that no Karmic debt is owed to the lower world."
Verses 1-2: The Completion of the Cycle and the Mastered Elements - "And Sarah was an hundred and seven and twenty years old... And Sarah died in Kirjatharba; the same is Hebron..."
Sarah passes at the age of 127. In Esoteric numerology, 1 + 2 + 7 equals 10—the number of the Monad, signifying Absolute Completion and the return to the Divine Source. She dies in Kirjatharba, which translates to the "City of Four." In Alchemy, the number Four represents the foundation of the physical plane and the Four classical elements (Earth, Air, Fire, and Water). Because Sarah was the Fully Activated Spiritual Soul, her passing in the "City of Four" signifies that she successfully Mastered the physical elements during her incarnation, and her Pure Essence is now ready to be anchored. Abraham comes to mourn and weep, acknowledging the emotional weight of this transition even for the Adept.
Verses 3-9: The Rulers of the Material Plane and the Double Cave - "And Abraham stood up from before his dead, and spake unto the sons of Heth... that he may give me the cave of Machpelah..."
Abraham (the Awakened Will) approaches the "sons of Heth" (the Hittites). Esoterically, the Hittites represent the indigenous, natural forces of the dense physical world—the established material matrix. Abraham politely but firmly requests to purchase the Cave of Machpelah. The name Machpelah literally translates to "double" or "folded together." This is a profound reference to the Hermetic Principle of Polarity and the maxim "As above, so below." The cave represents the deep, hidden sanctum of the Subconscious and the womb of the earth. The Adept is Seeking to plant the perfected seed of the Soul into the dual-chambered heart of the physical plane, securing a permanent bridge between Spirit and matter.
Verses 10-16: The Refusal of the Gift and the Weight of Silver - "And Ephron answered Abraham... the field give I thee... And Abraham weighed to Ephron the silver... four hundred shekels of silver..."
Ephron, representing the ruling authority of that specific material domain, offers to give the field and the cave to Abraham for free. Abraham vehemently refuses and insists on paying the full price. This is a critical Alchemical Law: the Adept cannot accept "gifts" from the lower material plane, because doing so creates an energetic bond and a karmic debt. To remain Absolutely Sovereign, the Spiritual Will must purchase its foundation outright. Abraham weighs out 400 shekels of Silver. Silver is the Alchemical metal of the Moon, representing Purified Psychic Energy, Intuition, and the Reflective Light of the Soul. The number 400 represents Ultimate, stabilized material manifestation (the number 4, amplified). Abraham is using Highly Refined Spiritual Energy to pay the exact Karmic price required to liberate this space from the Laws of dense matter.
Verses 17-20: The Anchoring of the Spiritual Seed - "And the field of Ephron... and the cave which was therein, and all the trees that were in the field... were made sure unto Abraham for a possession..."
Because the full energetic price was paid without compromise, the transaction is permanently sealed. The field, the double cave, and every single tree within its borders are "made sure" unto Abraham. The Spiritual Will has officially conquered and consecrated a designated portion of the physical universe. The physical body of the Soul (Sarah) is laid to rest within it, effectively planting the highest frequency of divine light deep into the bedrock of the earth. It is no longer just a plot of land; it has been transmuted into an eternal, karmically cleared alchemical vessel for future resurrection and spiritual continuity.
