God is ALL in All
This is a Philosophical and Spiritual endeavor to extract, Harmonize, and synthesize the Universal Truths underlying the world's Diverse Religious, Mystical, and Philosophical traditions. Most famously associated with the concept of Perennial Philosophy, it posits that All Major Traditions share a single, transcendent metaphysical Source and Core Set of Truths.
"By the Power of Truth, I, while Living, have Conquered the Universe."
"I Am Nothing, yet I Am Everything."
The KJV Holy Bible
Genesis Chapter Two
1 Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them.
2 And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made.
3 And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made.
4 These are the generations of the heavens and of the earth when they were created, in the day that the Lord God made the earth and the heavens,
5 And every plant of the field before it was in the earth, and every herb of the field before it grew: for the Lord God had not caused it to rain upon the earth, and there was not a man to till the ground.
6 But there went up a mist from the earth, and watered the whole face of the ground.
7 And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.
8 And the Lord God planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there he put the man whom he had formed.
9 And out of the ground made the Lord God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil.
10 And a river went out of Eden to water the garden; and from thence it was parted, and became into four heads.
11 The name of the first is Pison: that is it which compasseth the whole land of Havilah, where there is gold;
12 And the gold of that land is good: there is bdellium and the onyx stone.
13 And the name of the second river is Gihon: the same is it that compasseth the whole land of Ethiopia.
14 And the name of the third river is Hiddekel: that is it which goeth toward the east of Assyria. And the fourth river is Euphrates.
15 And the Lord God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it.
16 And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat:
17 But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.
18 And the Lord God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him.
19 And out of the ground the Lord God formed every beast of the field, and every fowl of the air; and brought them unto Adam to see what he would call them: and whatsoever Adam called every living creature, that was the name thereof.
20 And Adam gave names to all cattle, and to the fowl of the air, and to every beast of the field; but for Adam there was not found an help meet for him.
21 And the Lord God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof;
22 And the rib, which the Lord God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man.
23 And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man.
24 Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.
25 And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed.
Esoteric Interpretation & Commentary
The Hermetic Blueprint of Genesis: The Descent into Form and the Inner Garden
"While Chapter One outlines the grand, macrocosmic blueprint of Creation within the Divine Mind, Chapter Two shifts the perspective to the Microcosm. Here, the Universal Principles are scaled down to the localized manifestation of the human Soul and the physical vessel. In the Hermetic tradition, the narrative of Eden is not a geographical history, but an allegorical map of the human Consciousness in its original, Unified State of Spiritual equilibrium before the descent into the heavy illusion of material duality."
Verses 1-3: The Seventh Day and the Fixation of the Great Work - "Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them..."
In Spiritual Alchemy, the "seventh day" of rest does not imply that the Creator grew tired, but rather that the active phase of manifestation had reached its Perfect State of Equilibrium. This represents the alchemical stage of Fixation—the point where the volatile Forces of Creation are stabilized, and the Divine Will is perfectly crystallized into form. The number Seven is highly significant in Hermeticism, reflecting the Seven classical planets and the Seven Hermetic Principles. The sanctification of this day establishes the Principle of Rhythm, decreeing that All Creation must breathe in cycles of active work and passive integration.
Verses 4-7: The Microcosm Manifested and the Divine Breath - "And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life..."
These verses detail the actual construction of the physical vessel. The "dust of the ground" represents the Prima Materia (First Matter) in its most condensed, elemental earth state. However, the physical body alone is inert. It requires the Spiritus—the Divine Breath or Vital Life Force—to animate it. When the Infinite Mind breathes into the vessel, it implants a direct Spark of Divine Intelligence into the dense matter. The human being becomes a "Living Soul," functioning as the Ultimate Bridge between the Highest Spiritual realms and the lowest material planes.
Verses 8-14: The Inner Eden and the Four Elemental Rivers - "And a river went out of Eden to water the garden; and from thence it was parted, and became into four heads..."
Esoterically, the Garden of Eden is not a physical location, but a State of Exalted Consciousness and Perfect Alchemical Balance. The single river flowing out of Eden represents the Unified Source of Divine Energy (the primordial Aether or Spirit). As it enters the manifested realm, it divides into "Four heads." These Four rivers perfectly symbolize the Four classical elements of Western Esoteric Philosophy: Fire, Water, Air, and Earth. The human Consciousness is the garden itself, and it must be nourished and balanced by these Four fundamental Elemental Forces.
Verses 15-17: The Two Trees and the Law of Duality - "But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it..."
Planted in the Center of the Mind (the garden) are two distinct conceptual trees. The Tree of Life represents unity, singular Divine Truth, and the Awareness that The All is One. The Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil represents the Law of Polarity—the illusion of duality, separation, and extreme opposites. To "eat" from the tree of duality is to shift one's Consciousness away from Divine Unity and become completely entangled in the polarizing illusion of the material world. It brings "death" not immediately to the physical body, but to the Pure, Unified Spiritual Awareness of the Seeker.
Verses 18-25: The Division of Polarity and the Inner Alchemical Wedding - "And the Lord God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs..."
In the Hermetic interpretation, the original Anthropos (Adam) was a Unified, Androgynous Spiritual Being containing both active and passive forces in perfect balance. The "deep sleep" represents a descent in vibrational frequency, allowing the Divine Mind to separate this Unified Being into two distinct polarities: the Masculine (Active, Conscious, projecting Force) and the Feminine (Passive, Subconscious, receptive Force). This separation of Eve from Adam is the Ultimate Expression of the Law of Gender. The mandate that they shall "cleave unto" each other and become "one flesh" is the formula for the Magnum Opus. It is the Alchemical Wedding (the Coniunctio)—the Spiritual Imperative for Every Individual to perfectly reunite the Active Conscious Mind and the Receptive Subconscious Mind to return to a State of Divine Unity and Wholeness.
