God is ALL in All
This is a Philosophical and Spiritual endeavor to extract, Harmonize, and synthesize the Universal Truths underlying the world's Diverse Religious, Mystical, and Philosophical traditions. Most famously associated with the concept of Perennial Philosophy, it posits that All Major Traditions share a single, transcendent metaphysical Source and Core Set of Truths.
"By the Power of Truth, I, while Living, have Conquered the Universe."
"I Am Nothing, yet I Am Everything."
Exodus Chapter Nineteen
1 In the third month, when the children of Israel were gone forth out of the land of Egypt, the same day came they into the wilderness of Sinai.
2 For they were departed from Rephidim, and were come to the desert of Sinai, and had pitched in the wilderness; and there Israel camped before the mount.
3 And Moses went up unto God, and the Lord called unto him out of the mountain, saying, Thus shalt thou say to the house of Jacob, and tell the children of Israel;
4 Ye have seen what I did unto the Egyptians, and how I bare you on eagles' wings, and brought you unto myself.
5 Now therefore, if ye will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people: for all the earth is mine:
6 And ye shall be unto me a kingdom of priests, and an holy nation. These are the words which thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel.
7 And Moses came and called for the elders of the people, and laid before their faces all these words which the Lord commanded him.
8 And all the people answered together, and said, All that the Lord hath spoken we will do. And Moses returned the words of the people unto the Lord.
9 And the Lord said unto Moses, Lo, I come unto thee in a thick cloud, that the people may hear when I speak with thee, and believe thee for ever. And Moses told the words of the people unto the Lord.
10 And the Lord said unto Moses, Go unto the people, and sanctify them to day and to morrow, and let them wash their clothes,
11 And be ready against the third day: for the third day the Lord will come down in the sight of all the people upon mount Sinai.
12 And thou shalt set bounds unto the people round about, saying, Take heed to yourselves, that ye go not up into the mount, or touch the border of it: whosoever toucheth the mount shall be surely put to death:
13 There shall not an hand touch it, but he shall surely be stoned, or shot through; whether it be beast or man, it shall not live: when the trumpet soundeth long, they shall come up to the mount.
14 And Moses went down from the mount unto the people, and sanctified the people; and they washed their clothes.
15 And he said unto the people, Be ready against the third day: come not at your wives.
16 And it came to pass on the third day in the morning, that there were thunders and lightnings, and a thick cloud upon the mount, and the voice of the trumpet exceeding loud; so that all the people that was in the camp trembled.
17 And Moses brought forth the people out of the camp to meet with God; and they stood at the nether part of the mount.
18 And mount Sinai was altogether on a smoke, because the Lord descended upon it in fire: and the smoke thereof ascended as the smoke of a furnace, and the whole mount quaked greatly.
19 And when the voice of the trumpet sounded long, and waxed louder and louder, Moses spake, and God answered him by a voice.
20 And the Lord came down upon mount Sinai, on the top of the mount: and the Lord called Moses up to the top of the mount; and Moses went up.
21 And the Lord said unto Moses, Go down, charge the people, lest they break through unto the Lord to gaze, and many of them perish.
22 And let the priests also, which come near to the Lord, sanctify themselves, lest the Lord break forth upon them.
23 And Moses said unto the Lord, The people cannot come up to mount Sinai: for thou chargedst us, saying, Set bounds about the mount, and sanctify it.
24 And the Lord said unto him, Away, get thee down, and thou shalt come up, thou, and Aaron with thee: but let not the priests and the people break through to come up unto the Lord, lest he break forth upon them.
25 So Moses went down unto the people, and spake unto them.
Esoteric Interpretation & Commentary
The Hermetic Blueprint of Exodus: The Ascent to Sinai and the Boundaries of the Divine
"Exodus Chapter Nineteen represents the Profound Transition from the Active Purging of the lower nature to the Passive, Awe-Inspiring Reception of the Absolute Truth. Having organized and quieted the Internal Faculties, the Awakened Consciousness (Israel) arrives at the base of Sinai—the Highest Peak of Spiritual Elevation and the Center of the Divine Mind. This chapter details the Strict Alchemical Preparations required before the Soul can Directly Encounter the Universal Spirit. It establishes a Supreme Occult Warning: the Raw, Blazing Frequency of the Divine is fatal to the Unpurified animal nature. The Adept must set rigid Psychological boundaries, ensuring that the earthly Mind is Completely Washed and Sanctified before the overwhelming Thunder and Lightning of True Gnosis Descends."
Verses 1-4: The Wings of the Eagle and the Arrival at the Center - "In the third month, when the children of Israel were gone forth out of the land of Egypt, the same day came they into the wilderness of Sinai... and there Israel camped before the mount. And Moses went up unto God, and the Lord called unto him out of the mountain, saying... Ye have seen what I did unto the Egyptians, and how I bare you on eagles' wings, and brought you unto myself."
The arrival at Sinai in the "Third month" signifies the Completion of a Foundational Alchemical Cycle. The Mountain itself Represents the Highest Point of Human Consciousness—the summit of the Spiritual Intellect where the Individual Mind Connects Directly with the Universal Source. The Divine reminds the Spiritual Will (Moses) that the Liberation from the lower ego (Egypt) was not achieved by earthly struggle alone, but by being borne on "eagles' wings." The eagle is the Universal Esoteric symbol for the Highest Spiritual Elevation, Solar Vision, and the Transcendent, Uplifting Power of the Divine Spirit that effortlessly carries the Adept above the heavy gravity of the material plane.
Verses 5-6: The Kingdom of Priests and the Sovereign Soul - "Now therefore, if ye will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people: for all the earth is mine: And ye shall be unto me a kingdom of priests, and an holy nation. These are the words which thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel."
The Divine Spirit offers the Ultimate Promise of the Great Work. If the Internal Faculties will Perfectly Align with Universal Law, the Entire Psychological matrix will be Transformed into a "Kingdom of Priests." Esoterically, a Priest is one who has Direct, Unmediated Access to the Divine. This means the Adept will no longer rely on external gurus, physical temples, or worldly dogmas. Every Faculty of their Mind will become a Sovereign, Holy Conduit for Divine Truth, operating in Perfect Harmony Within the physical body ("for all the earth is mine").
Verses 10-13: The Alchemical Washing and the Boundary of the Flesh - "And the Lord said unto Moses, Go unto the people, and sanctify them to day and to morrow, and let them wash their clothes, And be ready against the third day: for the third day the Lord will come down in the sight of all the people upon mount Sinai. And thou shalt set bounds unto the people round about, saying, Take heed to yourselves, that ye go not up into the mount, or touch the border of it: whosoever toucheth the mount shall be surely put to death:"
Before the Divine can descend, a rigorous Three-Day Purification is Commanded. "Washing their clothes" symbolizes the cleansing of the Auric Field and the Mental garments—stripping away any lingering earthly vibrations or Intellectual Impurities. The establishment of strict "bounds" around the Mountain is a critical Occult safety measure. The Raw, High-Voltage Frequency of Pure Spirit will instantly short-circuit and destroy the unprepared physical and Emotional Faculties if they attempt to grasp it prematurely. The lower, earthly nature (man or beast) Cannot Forcefully Seize Enlightenment; it must remain reverently at the base of the Mountain while the Purified Spiritual Will Ascends.
Verses 16-19: The Thunder of the Logos and the Vibration of Truth - "And it came to pass on the third day in the morning, that there were thunders and lightnings, and a thick cloud upon the mount, and the voice of the trumpet exceeding loud; so that all the people that was in the camp trembled... And mount Sinai was altogether on a smoke, because the Lord descended upon it in fire: and the smoke thereof ascended as the smoke of a furnace, and the whole mount quaked greatly."
This terrifying and magnificent display Represents the Actual Descent of Universal Law into the human Consciousness. The thunder and lightning are the Electric, Dynamic Manifestations of the Divine Will. The "voice of the trumpet exceeding loud" Represents the Logos—the Pure, Piercing, Vibratory Frequency of the Word of God that cuts through All earthly Illusion. The thick cloud and smoke illustrate that to the physical Intellect, the Presence of the Absolute is Blinding and Incomprehensible. The trembling of the camp and the quaking of the Mountain signify the Intense, Physical Resonance of the nervous system as the human Temple struggles to hold the Immense Energetic Influx of Pure Spiritual Fire.
Verses 20-24: The Danger of Premature Ascent - "And the Lord came down upon mount Sinai, on the top of the mount: and the Lord called Moses up to the top of the mount; and Moses went up. And the Lord said unto Moses, Go down, charge the people, lest they break through unto the Lord to gaze, and many of them perish... And Moses said unto the Lord, The people cannot come up to mount Sinai: for thou chargedst us, saying, Set bounds about the mount, and sanctify it."
Even at the very peak of the event, the Divine Spirit issues a Second, Urgent Warning against the Internal Faculties trying to "break through" to gaze upon God. This Represents the Extreme Danger of Spiritual Pride, where the Unpurified ego attempts to Forcefully push the Kundalini or Spiritual Fire up to the Crown before the proper Psychological Foundation is built. Only Moses (the Fully Purified, Conscious Spiritual Will) and Aaron (the Highly Structured Rational Intellect) are permitted to approach the summit, ensuring the Divine Communication remains Perfectly Clear and the lower Temple is not destroyed by the overwhelming Light.
