God is ALL in All
This is a Philosophical and Spiritual endeavor to extract, Harmonize, and synthesize the Universal Truths underlying the world's Diverse Religious, Mystical, and Philosophical traditions. Most famously associated with the concept of Perennial Philosophy, it posits that All Major Traditions share a single, transcendent metaphysical Source and Core Set of Truths.

There is a nuanced distinction between "Consciousness" as we experience it and "Pure Awareness." Consciousness isn't just a quality of Spirit; it is the very substance of Spirit.
The Kybalion (by The Three Initiates) states, "The All is Mind; The Universe is Mental." Spirit is the underlying Reality behind All manifestations. Because the Source (the Infinite ALL) is Mental/Spiritual. Consciousness is the fundamental "stuff" of Existence. It doesn't emerge from matter; rather, matter is a densified vibration of Consciousness.
It is helpful to distinguish between the Spirit and the Soul. Spirit is the "Universal Flame" or Consciousness: non-dual, Infinite, and unconditioned. It doesn't "Think" in the way a human does; it simply IS. The Soul is where Consciousness begins to Individualize. It acts as the vehicle for Spirit to Experience quality, choice, and Self-Awareness within the lower realms (matter).
Consciousness as "The Bridge" is the Inherent "Will to Be" within Spirit. Being Inherent, It cannot be removed from Spirit any more than heat can be removed from Fire. Our daily Consciousness is a "dimmed" reflection of that Spiritual Consciousness, filtered through the ego of the physical body.
If we look at the symbology of the Sun, the Sun itself is Spirit. The Light emanating from it is Consciousness. You cannot have the Sun without the Light; the Light is how the Sun "Knows" itself and interacts with the rest of the Solar System.
"Consciousness is the path by which the Monad (Soul or Individualization) returns to its Source (the ALL) after its journey through the density of matter." Consciousness is Inherent to Spirit. Consciousness is Divine Mind, the Absolute, the Source or God the Father - the "Light and Life" and from this Light comes the Logos (Word – Creation of matter. Reason - Power of the Mind to Think).
The Inherent quality of human Consciousness is unique because Man was made in the Image of the Father. Created to possess the Immortal "Life and Light" (Spirit/Consciousness) in a mortal body. Consciousness is the "I Am" of Spirit. Without Consciousness, Spirit would be "blind"; without Spirit, Consciousness would have no "Source."
Enlightenment is the process of stripping away the "garments" (personality ego) of the lower nature to return to the State of Pure Mind. Consciousness is "Be-ness" rather than "Being." Consciousness is present in everything - from a mineral to a galaxy - it is "latent" in some and "active" in others. Consciousness is a gift to be reclaimed through Knowledge and Wisdom, an evolutionary necessity for the Monad's (human) experience.
You should seek to Realize that you are Mind; Seek to Evolve your Consciousness until it merges back into the Universal Spirit. The human Soul is a Pure Spark of the Absolute. It is not "Individual" in the way we Think; it is the Universal Consciousness. Our Spiritual Soul is where "Intuition" and Universal Love reside - the part of our Mind that connects to the Divine. Our Human Soul/Mind (The Personal Self) is the pivot point, it is dual - the part of our Mind that gets entangled with desires or passions and emotions or feelings, and the physical world. When our Consciousness identifies only with the desires and emotions of the physical body (personality ego), we experience the Illusion of Separation and Suffering. Through different Spiritual practices, we can shift the seat of our Consciousness upward into the Higher Mind, what is called "becoming ONE with the Christ or Our Father," achieving “Cosmic Consciousness.”
Without a shift in Consciousness the personal-self remains a "prisoner" of their personality and desires that are anchored in the brain, the “I am me” ego. When you become One with the Universal Mind, you become anchored in the "I AM the ALL" Spiritual Soul. It is something you must Consciously build through Spiritual practices of “Knowing Thyself”; like meditation, study of Symbology, and "Right Living." You will no longer need to "reason" your way to the Truth; you will perceive it directly through Intuition. You will begin to maintain Awareness of the Oneness of All Things even during sleep, because your "seat" will be in the Immortal ALL. When you become ONE with the Divine Mind, you cease being a "reflector" of LIGHT and begin to recognize yourself as the LIGHT itself.
