It is the Solar Logos—the Divine Word or active Spiritual Intelligence that Emanates Directly from the Absolute to animate, sustain, and eventually redeem All of Creation. The "Virgin Mary" represents the Purified, Refined physical and emotional vessel of the Student. Only when the lower nature is completely cleansed and made virginal can the "Christ Child" (the Awakened Spiritual Consciousness) be born within the "manger" of the physical, animal body. This represents the miraculous birth of the Higher Self.
