God is ALL in All
This is a Philosophical and Spiritual endeavor to extract, Harmonize, and synthesize the Universal Truths underlying the world's Diverse Religious, Mystical, and Philosophical traditions. Most famously associated with the concept of Perennial Philosophy, it posits that All Major Traditions share a single, transcendent metaphysical Source and Core Set of Truths.
"By the Power of Truth, I, while Living, have Conquered the Universe."
"I Am Nothing, yet I Am Everything."
The All-Seeing Eye (Omnituens), often depicted within a Superior Triangle, is one of the most Universally recognized symbols of Divine Omniscience and Spiritual Vigilance. Exoterically, it represents the Watchful, Protective Gaze of the Creator over humanity. Esoterically, it is a profoundly Internal symbol, representing the Awakened Spiritual Vision of the adept and the Active Presence of the Divine Mind within the human Consciousness.
Esoteric and Hermetic Meaning
In Hermeticism and occult geometry, the Eye represents the Single, Unified Point of Divine Consciousness that Illuminates the darkness of matter.
The Superior Triangle
The Eye is almost always enclosed within an Upward-Pointing equilateral Triangle (the Superior Triangle). As established, this geometry represents the Active Element of Fire, the Supernal Triad, and the Immortal human Spirit. The Eye within it represents the Pure Intelligence and Spiritual Will that animates that Triad.
The Eye of Horus
In the Egyptian Esoteric tradition, the symbol traces back to the Wedjat or Eye of Horus. It represents the fully healed, restored, and complete Spiritual Vision that allows the Initiate to Perceive the Hidden mechanics of the Universe beyond physical Illusion.
The Single Eye
Philosophically, it reflects the concept of the "Single Eye" of Spiritual Illumination. When the dualities of the physical world (represented by the two physical eyes) are reconciled and Focused into a Single Point of Spiritual Concentration, the whole body is Filled with Light.
Placement in the Esoteric Pentagram
Within Eliphas Levi's Esoteric Pentagram, the symbol is depicted as a pair of Eyes situated at the very top of the figure, carrying specific alchemical and anatomical mechanics.
The Eyes of the Father
In the Superior Angle of the Pentagram, we find the Eyes of the Spirit, the Eyes of the Father are Always Open.
The Holy Eight
Internally they symbolize the Infinite, the Holy Eight, the Equilibrium between Brain, Heart and Sex.
The Omniscient Presence
The Omniscient and Permanent Sight of God is Always Present in All Creation.
The Vigilant Christ
The Divinity, the Internal Christ, is always Awake and Vigilant.
Philosophical Meaning
Philosophically, the symbol serves as a reminder of the Ultimate Reality of Truth and the Inescapable Nature of Cosmic Law.
The Light of Reason
The Eye frequently radiates Beams of Light, symbolizing the Piercing Power of Logic and Truth. It suggests that nothing can remain permanently Hidden from the Illuminating Power of Divine Reason.
Self-Observation
For the Philosophical Seeker, the All-Seeing Eye is not just an external Deity watching from above, but the Internal Observer. It represents the necessity of Relentless Self-Observation, Moral Inventory, and the Vigilant Guarding of one's own Thoughts and Actions.
