God is ALL in All
This is a Philosophical and Spiritual endeavor to extract, Harmonize, and synthesize the Universal Truths underlying the world's Diverse Religious, Mystical, and Philosophical traditions. Most famously associated with the concept of Perennial Philosophy, it posits that All Major Traditions share a single, transcendent metaphysical Source and Core Set of Truths.
"By the Power of Truth, I, while Living, have Conquered the Universe."
"I Am Nothing, yet I Am Everything."
XV - The Devil
Psalm 119 (121–128)
121 I Have done Judgment and Justice: Leave Me Not to Mine Oppressors.
122 Be surety for Thy Servant for Good: Let Not the Proud Oppress Me.
123 Mine eyes fail for Thy Salvation, and for the Word of Thy Righteousness.
124 Deal with Thy Servant according unto Thy Mercy, and Teach Me Thy Statutes.
125 I am Thy Servant; give Me Understanding, that I May Know Thy Testimonies.
126 It is time for Thee, Lord, to work: for they have made void Thy Law.
127 Therefore I Love Thy Commandments Above Gold; Yea, Above Fine Gold.
128 Therefore I Esteem All Thy Precepts concerning All Things to be Right; and I hate every false way.
Ayin (ע)
The Kabbalistic Path of Ayin
On the Tree of Life, Ayin governs the Twenty-Sixth Path, descending along the Pillar of Severity from Tiphareth (Beauty/Solar Consciousness) down to Hod (Splendour/Intellect). The Hebrew letter Ayin translates to an "Eye." Esoterically, Ayin Represents the Faculty of Vision—both physical Sight, which binds the Soul to the surface illusions of the material world, and Spiritual Insight, which pierces the Veil of Appearance. Astrologically attributed to Capricorn, the sign of the Goat, this Path rules the dense material realm, structure, crystallization, and the Cosmic Mirage that tests the Seeker's Spiritual Discernment.
The Arcana Symbolism - The Devil (XV)
The Devil Does Not Represent an Ultimate Evil Power Opposed to God, but rather the Spirit of materialism, animal instinct, and inverted perception that enchains human Consciousness when Spiritual Sight is Veiled.
The Horned Goat-Beast (Baphomet)
Perched high upon a black stone pedestal sits the winged goat-god, displaying curved ram horns, goat hooves, and broad bat-like wings. This composite beast personifies the lower astral currents, the heavy gravity of the physical plane, and the raw Creative Forces of nature when disconnected from Supernal Light.
The Inverted Pentagram
Between his horns shines an Inverted Golden Pentagram, the glyph of Spirit subordinated to the Four material Elements. This marks the inversion of Divine Order, where Earthly Appetite and Intellectual Cunning Dominate Spiritual Will.
The Sinister Gesture and the Downward Torch
His Right Hand is raised in an open, claw-like posture of worldly authority, while his lowered Left Hand holds a blazing downward torch. This torch burns wastefully toward the earth, representing the misuse of the Spiritual Fire for Purely Sensual and Destructive Ends.
The Chained Man and Woman
Standing at the base of the half-cubic altar are the male and female figures first encountered in The Lovers. They are naked and bound by heavy iron chains fastened to an iron ring in the stone. Notably, the chain loops around their necks are wide and loose, showing that their enslavement is voluntary—they remain captive only because their Awareness is fixated on the material plane rather than Spiritual Liberation.
The Beastly Tails
Behind the man burns a tail of fire, and behind the woman hangs a cluster of ripe grapes, symbolizing the entrapment of the Soul through animal desire, intoxicating passions, and purely physical sensation.
The Alchemical Transmutation (Verses 121–128)
The octave of Ayin addresses the Soul's cry when surrounded by the suffocating weight of material oppression: "I Have Done Judgment and Justice: Leave Me Not to Mine Oppressors" (verse 121). The "oppressors" are the rigid demands of the senses and the prideful intellect that seek to lock the Soul into the physical half-cube.
Verse 123 directly invokes the Hebrew letter itself: "Mine Eyes Fail for Thy Salvation." When the outer eyes tire of searching through mortal gloom, the Inner Eye of Spiritual Vision Opens. The initiate Recognizes the counterfeit nature of worldly wealth, proclaiming in verse 127: "Therefore I Love Thy Commandments Above Gold; Yea, Above Fine Gold." By valuing Universal Spiritual Law over material gold and sensual distraction, the Soul slips off the loose collar of illusion and ascends beyond the goat-god's throne.
