God is ALL in All
This is a Philosophical and Spiritual endeavor to extract, Harmonize, and synthesize the Universal Truths underlying the world's Diverse Religious, Mystical, and Philosophical traditions. Most famously associated with the concept of Perennial Philosophy, it posits that All Major Traditions share a single, transcendent metaphysical Source and Core Set of Truths.
"By the Power of Truth, I, while Living, have Conquered the Universe."
"I Am Nothing, yet I Am Everything."
XIX - The Sun
Psalm 119 (153–160)
153 Consider Mine affliction, and Deliver Me: for I Do Not Forget Thy Law.
154 Plead my cause, and deliver Me: Quicken Me according to Thy Word.
155 Salvation is far from the wicked: for they Seek Not Thy Statutes.
156 Great are Thy Tender Mercies, O Lord: Quicken Me according to Thy Judgments.
157 Many are my persecutors and Mine enemies; yet Do I Not Decline From Thy Testimonies.
158 I beheld the transgressors, and was grieved; because They Kept Not Thy Word.
159 Consider how I Love Thy Precepts: Quicken Me, O Lord, according to Thy Loving Kindness.
160 Thy Word is True from the beginning: and Every One of Thy Righteous Judgments Endureth Forever.
Resh (ר)
The Kabbalistic Path of Resh
On the Tree of Life, Resh governs the Thirtieth Path, linking Hod (Splendour/The Intellect) directly to Yesod (Foundation/The Subconscious Astral Reservoir). The Hebrew letter Resh translates to "Head" or "Beginning" (as in Rosh Hashanah or Bereshit). While Qoph represented the base and back of the head (primal survival), Resh signifies the countenance, the crown of the skull, and the seat of Conscious Intellect Illuminated by Divine Light. Astrologically attributed to the Sun itself (Sol), this Path Represents the Stage of Spiritual Regeneration where Intellectual Knowledge and Subconscious feeling merge under solar radiance.
The Arcana Symbolism - The Sun (XIX)
The Sun portrays the Triumphant Restoration of Spiritual Innocence, Total Clarity, and Conscious Union with the Divine Source after the dark trial of The Moon.
The Radiant Solar Countenance
A great golden Sun dominates the upper third of the card, bearing a Calm, Human Countenance. It radiates alternating rays—straight, fiery rays denoting Masculine Generative Force, and wavy, serpentine rays signifying Feminine Formative Light.
The Crown of Sunflowers
Rising above a neatly mortared grey stone wall are four blooming sunflowers, turned upward toward the Celestial Light. They symbolize the physical senses and the elements Harmonized and Blossoming under the warmth of Conscious Spiritual Grace.
The Clothed Child on the White Mount
A young child, crowned with a wreath of flowers and a single red feather, rides bareback upon a gentle white horse. In traditional Esoteric symbolism, the Child Represents the Regenerate Soul—stripped of worldly conditioning, animal shame, and mortal pretense, reborn into Pure Edenic Innocence and Conscious Union with the Divine Light.
Curator's Note on Graphic Design:
The custom Tarot keys featured throughout this Hub were rendered with AI using Arthur Edward Waite’s original 1910 The Pictorial Key to the Tarot as the strict reference standard for all colors, geometry, and occult emblems. Due to contemporary digital generation policies regarding anatomical depiction, the youthful rider could not be rendered unclothed as originally illustrated by Pamela Colman Smith. The child has been modestly clothed, while preserving all surrounding sacred symbols—the solar rays, sunflowers, stone wall, red banner, and white mount—with strict fidelity to the original Golden Dawn design.
The Red Feather and Floating Banner
In his Left Hand, the child effortlessly unfurls a great crimson standard. The scarlet banner symbolizes the Life Force, Vital Blood, and Dynamic Spiritual Energy brought into Total Alignment and Mastery.
The Gray Stone Wall
Behind the horse and child stands a low masonry wall, marking the boundary between the cultivated garden of Spiritual Attainment and the outer wilderness of mortal illusion.
The Alchemical Transmutation (Verses 153–160)
The octave of Resh carries the Persistent Prayer of the Solar Initiate: "Quicken Me" (verses 154, 156, and 159). In Esoteric Kabbalah, to be "quickened" is to be Vitalized by the Living Solar Force—the animating breath that revives the Soul from the affliction of material density.
The psalmist emphasizes enduring stability in the midst of turmoil: "Many are My persecutors and Mine enemies; yet Do I Not Decline From Thy Testimonies" (verse 157). Just as the solar sphere remains untainted by shadows, the Illumined Mind Does Not Swerve From Eternal Principles.
The octave culminates in verse 160 with an Absolute Proclamation of Perennial Truth: "Thy Word Is True From the Beginning: and Every One of Thy Righteous Judgments Endureth Forever." The Hebrew word for "beginning" here directly mirrors the root meaning of the letter Resh, signifying that Truth is the Primordial Foundation and the Ultimate Completion of the Great Work.
