God is ALL in All
This is a Philosophical and Spiritual endeavor to extract, Harmonize, and synthesize the Universal Truths underlying the world's Diverse Religious, Mystical, and Philosophical traditions. Most famously associated with the concept of Perennial Philosophy, it posits that All Major Traditions share a single, transcendent metaphysical Source and Core Set of Truths.
"By the Power of Truth, I, while Living, have Conquered the Universe."
"I Am Nothing, yet I Am Everything."
II - The High Priestess
Psalm 119 (17–24)
17 Deal Bountifully with Thy Servant, that I may Live, and Keep Thy Word.
18 Open Thou Mine Eyes, that I may Behold Wondrous Things Out of Thy Law.
19 I am a stranger in the earth: Hide Not Thy Commandments from Me.
20 My Soul Breaketh for the longing that it hath unto Thy Judgments at All Times.
21 Thou hast rebuked the proud that are cursed, which do err from Thy Commandments.
22 Remove from me reproach and contempt; for I Have Kept Thy Testimonies.
23 Princes also did sit and speak against me: but Thy Servant did meditate in Thy Statutes.
24 Thy Testimonies also are My Delight and My Counsellors.
Gimel (ג)
The Kabbalistic Path of Gimel
On the Kabbalistic Tree of Life, Gimel is the 13th Path, bridging the Highest Supernal Crown (Kether) Directly down to the Center of the Tree, Tiphareth (Beauty). The Hebrew letter Gimel translates to "Camel." Just as a Camel is the "Ship of the Desert" that carries the traveler across a vast, barren wasteland, the path of Gimel is the vehicle that carries the adept across the great Abyss that separates the Divine, Unmanifest Mind from the lower realms of human Consciousness.
The Arcana Symbolism - The High Priestess (II)
If the Magician is the Active, Masculine Principle of Outward Creation, The High Priestess is the Passive, Feminine Principle of Internal Reflection and Hidden Wisdom. She Represents the Secret Church, the Esoteric Tradition, and the Shekinah—the Co-Habiting Divine Glory.
The Pillars of the Temple
She is seated exactly between the Black pillar of Boaz (B) and the White pillar of Jachin (J). These represent the Fundamental Dualities of the manifest Universe (light/dark, active/passive, mercy/severity). By sitting between them, she embodies the Perfect Equilibrium required to access the Sanctuary.
The Veil of the Sanctuary
Behind her hangs the Veil of the Temple, embroidered with palms and pomegranates, which hides the Sanctum Sanctorum (the Holy of Holies) from the profane.
The Tora and the Mantle
She holds a scroll inscribed with the Divine Law (Tora), but it is partially covered by her blue, flowing mantle. This indicates that the Deepest Esoteric Truths cannot be Entirely Spoken or Written; some things must be implied, felt, and received through Direct Spiritual Intuition.
Lunar and Solar Emblems
She wears a horned diadem with a globe in the middle, a Lunar Crescent rests at her feet, and a large Solar Cross is upon her breast. She is the Queen of the borrowed Light, synthesizing the Illumination of the Macrocosm.
The Alchemical Transmutation (Verses 17-24)
The verses for Gimel represent the Soul's Profound Recognition that the literal, surface-level reading of the physical world is insufficient. The most Vital Alchemical Key in this stanza is verse 18: "Open Thou Mine Eyes, that I may Behold Wondrous Things out of Thy Law."
The adept is not asking for new Laws to be written; they are asking for the High Priestess to lift the Veil of pomegranates so they can see the inner, esoteric meaning hidden beneath the literal text of the Tora. Because the adept is attempting to cross the Abyss (the path of the Camel), they Recognize they are "a stranger in the earth" (verse 19). They must ignore the worldly logic of the "princes" who speak against them (verse 23) and rely Entirely on the Silent, Internal Counsel of the Shekinah.
